- My cousin and his wife have two girls under the age of three
- John's sister's youngest child is now two
- Another cousin and her husband are pregnant with a baby girl due in September
- My brother and sister in law are pregnant with a baby girl due in June
You may be quietly wondering what my feelings are on the matter. Some people have even been so bold as to ask how this [situation] makes me feel. If you're new here, you may have missed this post. Frankly, my thoughts haven't changed. In fact, I'm feeling much better and less conflicted about it all. Guess I've kind of embraced it and accepted the fact that children just aren't in our near future, if at all. I'm becoming more comfortable with telling people the truth when they ask when we are having children instead of making up a response just to avoid further questioning. I'm no longer worried about disappointing anyone if that's the path we choose to take. It feels good to be at peace with it all.
I am excited about all the new babies in our families. It will be so wonderful to hold those sweet rose buds in my arms, smell their new baby skin and kiss their peach fuzz heads. I can't wait to rock them, feed them a bottle and cuddle them.
When the milk comes back up, I can't wait to give them back to Mama.
